Tv-series #1

Drama #1

Many different kinds of series, but all of these have some dose of drama

(every picture is linked to the series opening credits and the descriptions are taken from imdb)

The Sopranos
"Modern day morality tale about New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano, as he deals with personal and professional issues in his home and business life"
This series have alsmot everything: action, humour and drama. Even through it's six seasons, it never gets boring, and never cease to entertain and amaze. The plot is never straight-forward and the characters are never easy to get a grasp on.

House MD
"An anticosial maverick doctor who specializes in diagnostic medicine does whatever it takes to solve puzzling cases that come his way using the crack team of docotrs and his wits"
Ok, maybe the series consists of very few surprises and follows the same formula for most episodes, but it's still entertaining. I mostly follow it for House's sarcasm and the occasional surprises. I guess I would have stopped watching the show if it weren't for the amazing cast.

Mad Men
"A drama about one of New York's most prestigious ad agencies at the beginning of the 1960s, focusing on one of the firm's most mysterious, but extremely talented ad executives, Donald Draper"
One of the best tv-series at the moment. Visually stunning in every way. The costumes and the setting is as close to perfect as can be, and the plot is both funny and exciting. All the characters has grown on me throughput the series, with their faults and their humanity.

Band of Brothers
"The story of Easy Company of the US Army 101st Airborne division and their mission in WW2 Europe from Operation Overlord trhough V-J Day."
Usually I fall asleep at the sight of uniforms, but this one is different from other war movies and series (and the uniforms look so much better). It's been a while since I last saw it, but I remember it to be stunning, exciting and lifelike. And the score is beautifull!
I can't wait to se The Pacific.

Six Feet Under
"A drama series that takes a darkly comical look at members ofa dysfunctional California family that runs an independent funeral home"
Long time since I saw this, but I still remember it as one of my all time favorites. It's so wonderfully morbid. I think I've been angry with all the characters at some point, but I still adore them. I think the characters is what making this series so real. Oh, how this series has brought many tears to my eyes.

I totally agree about the Sopranos, one of my all-time favorite shows & one that I never got tired of ♥

Also loved SFU as well, one of those shows that was always very engaging and interesting. Saw every episode except for the last one, still don't know if I'm ready to watch it yet, I'm not so good at seeing my favorite shows end.

I really want to get into Mad Men as well, just can never find the time to

I looooove Mad Men!!! Watching the third season right now. I also loved SFU too. But I did not get to see all the episodes, so I think I must get all the seasons and watch them from the beginning!
